The Solution, Morris College to host Mayor's Forum

The Solution, a local nonprofit organization led by Matthew White and Rickey Evans, in partnership with Morris College, will host a Mayor's Forum on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at the Morris College W.H. Neal-Iola Jones Fine Art Center.

This pivotal forum will offer Sumter residents a unique opportunity to engage directly with mayoral candidates and gain insight into their visions for the city's future. Topics of discussion will encompass key issues such as economic development, education, public safety and community revitalization.

"The Solution is committed to empowering Sumter's citizens and fostering meaningful dialogue," stated Matthew White, co-founder of The Solution. "This forum represents a crucial step towards ensuring an informed and engaged electorate."

Dr. Said Sewell, president of Morris College, echoed this sentiment: "Morris College is proud to partner with The Solution in presenting this vital community event. We believe that an educated and involved citizenry is essential to the progress of Sumter."
