Letter to the editor: Thank you to poll workers for quick, smooth voting process

Let's take a moment to give praise to the individuals who work the polling sites each election season. I voted early on Oct. 22 at the Voter Registration Building, 129 Liberty St., downtown Sumter. There was a decent crowd of voters which extended out the front door, but the process was quick and smooth with poll workers keeping the line moving and making the casting of my vote fast and easy. I hope the City of Sumter recognizes the efforts of these workers!
