Teseniar-Decker

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Teseniar of Charleston, formerly of Sumter, announce the engagement of their daughter, Laila Teseniar of Charleston, to Dr. James Decker of Charleston, son of Dr. and Mrs. James Decker of Charleston.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Morris of Sumter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Don Teseniar. She received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master in Education from Columbia College. She is employed by Oakdale Elementary School in Brandon, Mississippi.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Ann Blalock and the late Mr. William Blalock of Charleston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Humbert Decker. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston and a Doctor of Medicine from USC School of Medicine. He is a radiology resident at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

The wedding is planned for Feb. 5, 2022, at The Creek Club at I'On in Mount Pleasant.
