TERRI WARREN

COLUMBIA — Terri Varhonda Warren, born on June 5, 1959, in Sumter, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Prisma Richland Hospital with her husband and granddaughter Destany by her side. A devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and cherished friend, Terri’s warmth, compassion, and strength touched the lives of all who knew her.
She was the beloved wife of Scott Warren and the daughter of the late Sheppard Newman and Jonnie Nesbitt. Terri is survived by her sons, Samuel Mack Sanders and Jonathan Kyle Sanders; and by her beloved grandchildren, Destany Sanders, Hunter Sanders, Matthew Sanders, McKenzie Sanders, and Junior Sanders, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. Also surviving are her brother, Thomas “Tommy” Newman (Ashley); and sisters, Sherri Lewis (Mark), Lexi Long (Steve), Yvonne Garst (Doug). She was predeceased by her brother, Timothy “Timmy” Newman.
Terri will be remembered for her kind heart, vibrant spirit, and her unwavering love for family. She had a gift for making others feel seen, heard, and cared for — leaving behind a legacy of love and grace.
A Celebration of Terri’s life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory and celebrate the life she so beautifully lived.
