Another restaurant has fallen victim to the COVID-19 pandemic in Sumter.

Golden Corral shut down because of the pandemic's impact on business  after the restaurant reopened in June.

The restaurant, which could be found packed with church crowds every Sunday, tried reopening during the summer with a no-touch buffet. The Golden Corral sign was taken down the last week of October.
