Sumter Today: Wilder Elementary Wraps Up Read Across America Week!

Read Across America Week wrapped up last Friday and Wilder Elementary School went all out with a book character parade! Students and faculty dressed up as characters from their favorite books and then gathered to watch the winners of their accelerated reader program pie three teachers in the face! Schools all across the country use the week to emphasize the importance of reading.
