Sumter Today: USC Sumter’s Upward Bound program continues to connect with students over the summer

USC Sumter knows many students can benefit in college if they get connected before they even graduate high school.
That’s just what the Upward Bound program does.
This pre-college program serves high school students and provides access to academic support, after-school and weekend activities, a summer residential program and college placement services.
This summer, program students at Manning High School got to participate in three electives, learning about food, dance and art from community volunteers.
