Sumter Today: Sumter's R.E. Davis College Preparatory Academy takes part in a gardening program

A new initiative at R.E. Davis College Preparatory Academy is transforming gardening, agriculture and eating your vegetables into fun and interactive science activities for elementary and middle school students. R.E. Davis is one of 20 public schools in the state that is participating in the 2021 School Garden and Education Assistance Program, led by school curriculum coach Zach Lowe, and students planted their first crop on Wednesday.
