Sumter Today: Sumter Disc Golfers compete nationally

Kelly Melton and Kenneth Shanks, two members of the Sumter Disc Golf Club qualified to compete in the United States Disc Golf Championship Amateur Doubles tournament (USDGC Doubles). Teams from across the country flocked to Rock Hill, SC last weekend to compete at the pro-level Winthrop University course. A week after their event, the sport's top professionals will travel from around the world to play the very same course in the United States Disc Golf Championship.
