Sumter Today: National School Lunch Week is Recognized at Crosswell Drive Elementary

Posted
In 1962, JFK created the National School Lunch Week to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child's life. The impact of good nutrition is felt inside and outside the classroom. During the annual celebration, schools and students around the country recognize and appreciate the happenings within their cafeterias. We visited Crosswell Drive Elementary School to see how they were celebrating.
