Sumter Today: Monster Trucks at the Sumter Speedway

The Sumter Speedway was transformed into a monster truck arena this past weekend for the Mayhem of Monsters Tour. The trucks compete in best trick, monster truck racing, and freestyle events. People got to meet the drivers, see the trucks up close, and ride in the Split Personality Ride truck before the show started. The organization hosts about 20 shows per year, and they travel up and down the east coast with their entire staff. This is the first time monster trucks have been at the Sumter Speedway.
Sumter Today is presented by the Sumter Opera House, University of South Carolina Sumter, and Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
