Sumter Today: Mike Bond, Engineer, Photographer

Mike Bond is an engineer with SKF and an accomplished amateur photographer. In 1993, a motorcycle accident left him with a high, C4 spinal injury, resulting in no feeling and little movement in his limbs. He took up photography as a hobby in 2007, and has since designed a custom apparatus to mount his camera onto his wheelchair. His favorite subjects are hummingbirds, but you'll find all sorts of flora and fauna in his portfolio. Look for our full story on Mike in the next edition of Lakeside!
