Sumter Today: From Sumter to Space

Students at Sumter's Career and Technology Center participated in a national challenge set by Future Engineers in collaboration with NASA. Students around the country were tasked with identifying a problem or situation within the confines of spaceflight that could be solved or improved. Crop irrigation in microgravity was the chosen target by Sumter's highschoolers.
Sumter Today is presented by University of South Carolina Sumter, Sumter Opera House, and Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
