Sumter Today: Downtown Sumter is painted in large-scale color

Public art is a part of any successful and enticing downtown, and now Sumter is joining those ranks.
Eight large-scale murals have been approved to be installed downtown on walls and the sides of buildings.
One has already been completed at the Sumter County Museum, and we got a bird’s eye view of Main Street’s newest addition, a massive underwater view of the artist’s rendition of Swan Lake.
