Sumter Today: Cutting Edge Tech Comes to Sumter School Buses

Santee Lynches Regional Council of Governments recently paid to have UVC lights installed in school buses across Sumter, Clarendon and Lee counties. It acts as another barrier between students, staff and pathogens like the coronavirus and flu.
The technology is state-of-the-art and is used by the U.S. military and other professional organizations.
Sumter Today is presented by Sumter Opera House, University of South Carolina Sumter, and Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
