Sumter Today: Clarendon Soups, Stews, and Sweets Along Brooks Street

The Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce and Bank of Clarendon hosted their first ever Soups, Stews and Sweets event last week to showcase local front porches and entrances along Brooks Street retailers.
Each stop featured food cooked locally from businesses or amateur cooks.
The event was modeled after Porches of Sumter and downtown’s Sip and Stroll, so we stopped by to check it out.
Sumter Today is presented by the University of South Carolina Sumter, Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, and Sumter Opera House.
