Sumter Today: CCTC Gets a Little Greener!

Where there used to be an asphalt parking lot behind two buildings on the main Central Carolina Technical College campus in Sumter, there is now a courtyard called the Green Space.
Designed for students, it serves as an outdoor gathering space and is outfitted with sidewalks, trees, benches, a terrace and grass yard and has WiFi and power outlets.
The college held a ribbon cutting for the Green Space this week, and we stopped by to learn more.
