Sumter Today: An annual gospel concert aims to unite the community over the holiday weekend

Monday was the 24th year of Gospel in the Park, an annual concert that offers entertainment and community on Labor Day.
Shonda English took over organizing the concert from her father, who started it, and she adapted to the coronavirus by turning it into a drive-in and picnic concert. She themed this year’s concert around community unity, and we stopped by to learn more and hear some of the show.
