Sumter Today: Alice Drive Middle School teachers get Google certified

When the pandemic hit and teachers and students were forced to teach and learn virtually, those systems and programs they used became instantly critical.
At the end of every year, Alice Drive Middle School’s leadership team looks at data, observations and teacher input to help in planning their professional development for the next year.
As a nationally accredited STEM school, they must be proficient in technology to make the biggest impact with their students.
Since Google Workspace is the platform they use on a daily basis now, they issued the Google Challenge to get every classroom teacher Google Certified by the end of the year.
During difficult times, some people choose to do less.
