Sumter Today: A local bank increases their community service footprint

Now in its 11th year, the BB&T Lighthouse Project is an all hands on deck community service effort held throughout the bank’s service area each year. Teams of local associates volunteer their time to partner with local organizations to help people in need our their communities, and Sumter’s BB&T went to three schools to donate brand new shoes to students.
