Sumter Today: An elementary school celebrates breakfast that is out of this world

To culminate Read Across America Week and celebrate National School Breakfast Week, Willow Drive Elementary School held a special celebration Friday morning. The whole school participated in the theme that School Breakfast is Out of the World. Classrooms designed their own aliens, had an alien story time, green eggs and ham and a space taste testing, and the teacher’s lounge transformed into a space walk for students to exit the cafeteria.
