Sumter Today: Sumter honors a fallen hero

At least 1,500 people gathered Sunday to lay a fallen deputy to rest. Cpl. Andrew Gillette was killed in the line of duty last week, and hundreds of first responders, family, friends and law enforcement officers from as far as New York and California came to pay their respects.
