Sumter Today: An obstacle course brings fun and fitness to Patriot Park

The Palmetto Optimist Club started its annual Battle Buddies obstacle course for kids a few years ago with 45 participants. This year, hundreds showed up to have fun on the course at Patriot Park. The civic club holds it to promote physical fitness and a respect for law enforcement and the military, and we stopped by to see how it went.
