Sumter Today: Community Broadcasters thanks our first responders

For the third straight year, Community Broadcasters teamed up with McLaughlin Ford and Hines Furniture to shine a light on first responders. Nearly 400 of our area’s law enforcement, fire fighters, EMTs, linemen, military and other emergency personnel gathered on USC Sumter’s campus at Nettles Auditorium where local restaurants provided tons of food, business handed out products, samples and gave away some really cool door prizes, all in an effort to say thank you to the men and women who put so much on the line for their community
