Sumter Today: Alice Drive Elementary students hold a STEM Invention Convention

Posted

Instead of having a regular science fair, students at Alice Drive Elementary School this year held an Invention Convention, where they created actual inventions that would solve a problem with a STEM focus. From a charm bracelet that helps you remember your chores to a mesh bag that keeps socks from getting lost in the wash to a duck extractor that doesn't use dogs, the students displayed their contraptions that taught them about problem-solving and critical thinking.
