Sumter Today: Sammy Way and The Sumter Item open an exhibit at Patriot Hall

The Sumter Item and Patriot Hall banded together to create an exhibit at the cultural center featuring photos taken by past Item photographers an other prominent Sumter photographers. The first set of photos focused on wartime photography, with sets ranging from World War II and the Korean War. Our archivist and Sumter historian Sammy Way gave a talk about the photographers featured and some of their work at an opening reception this week.
