Sumter Today: The community honors MLK with an annual Dream Walk

This year's theme for the 19th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Walk is "Now is the Time," the phrase from King's famously inspiring "I Have a Dream" speech that he delivered on August 28, 1963. The three-mile walk held this morning on the national holiday honoring MLK was sponsored by Sumter's three higher education institutions and featured a program with speakers and performances after at USC Sumter.
