Sumter School District student team gets special visitors

On the day of a historic Artemis 1 launch, the Sumter School District NASA App Development Challenge team got a special visit from Chuck Baldwin, a computer science instructor and the NASA Minds competition project leader at Central Carolina Technical College. Baldwin listened to students' ideas, offered suggestions and talked to them about his team's NASA project. Students also recently received a visit by Richard Phillips, a coordinator of science and fine arts at the district and a former middle school science teacher.
