Sumter school bus transportation, finance committees to meet

A pair of Sumter school board committees have meetings on the calendar for this upcoming week.
A district spokeswoman and trustees shared the information recently.
Trustee Brian Alston announced at last week's board meeting that the district's transportation study ad hoc committee will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. Alston is the committee's chairman.
The board's finance committee will meet Thursday at 11 a.m. Johnny Hilton is that committee's chairman.
Both meetings will be at the district office, 1345 Wilson Hall Road.
The full board's next meeting is set for Monday, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m., also at the district office.
