Sumter officers continue search for a suspect in connection to a September shooting incident.
Marcques Charles Wright, 25, of Sumter, is accused of driving to an Andrena Drive residence where he reportedly shot into an occupied vehicle and then rammed the side of it with his own SUV, said Tonyia McGirt, public information officer for the Sumter Police Department. No injuries were reported.
Wright faces several charges in connection to the incident, including an attempted murder charge, McGirt said. He is known to be armed, she added.
