Sumter man wanted for burglary, vehicle break-ins; may be armed

Update: Kevin Capell was captured Wednesday moring in Lexington County, according to Deputy Adrienne Sarvis, public information officer for the Sumter County Sheriff's Office. The Lexington County Sheriff's Office assisted Sumter County in apprehending Capell for his outstanding warrants.

A possibly armed Sumter man is wanted by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office in connection to multiple burglary and vehicle break-in incidents.

Kevin Capell, 37, of Quail Run Road, is wanted, said Deputy Adrienne Sarvis, public information officer for the sheriff’s office. He faces charges of three counts of first-degree burglary and two counts breaking into a motor vehicle.

Capell may be armed, Sarvis said. He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes.
