Sumter High Special Olympics athletes, unified partners bring home medals

This past week, Sumter High School Special Olympics athletes and unified partners joined Team South Carolina in Orlando for the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. These athletes and partners competed in the first-ever Interscholastic Unified Track competition. The athletes and partners returned home with three gold medals, two silver medals and four bronze medals, and many personal bests were set.
