Sumter Animal Control's Troy is eager to learn, super funny and spunky

Posted

This 1-2-year-old fella was so shy and afraid when he came to the shelter, he sat in the corner of his kennel and did not want to go outside. Meeting Troy today, you would never know that this spunky boy was once a shy pooch who wasn't sure he could trust humans. Troy has stepped out of his safe little shell to become a 45-pound happy-go-lucky boy with so much love to offer. He has come a long way in a short amount of time, showing that he is eager to learn new things and be part of the perfect family. He is full of life, super funny and waiting to show you how much he loves you.

As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them. Check Sumter Animal Control on Facebook. Call the adoption coordinator at (803) 774-3232 to set up a meet and greet or email at rescuesumtersc@gmail.com.
