Sumter Animal Control's Sheldon is a sweet and smart pup

This handsome fella is Sheldon, a fitting name as he is a smart pup. He was brought in as a stray and, sadly, has not been claimed. A sweet and loving boy, he is quickly climbing to the top of the list of shelter favorites. Sheldon is a cuddle bug, and he absolutely adores attention. He can sit on command, and he's very eager to please. Sheldon, a pit mix, is 2-3 years old and weighs 58 pounds. He is testing well with the other dogs and does well on a leash - energetic but not too hyper. Sheldon would make an amazing pet.

As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them.
