Summer Youth Employment crew gets $10K for more supplies to help make Sumter beautiful

On World Environment Day, Thursday, June 5, PalmettoPride, South Carolina's statewide anti-litter program, surprised the Summer Youth Employment program with a $10,000 check. The program crew picks up litter across Sumter each Thursday with the support of Sumter's Litter Officer Glenn Button. The grant will help the program buy more tools and supplies so the youth can keep making Sumter a cleaner, greener place for everyone.
