Some voters will vote at different precincts in Clarendon County for Saturday primary

MANNING - The 2020 election year gets into full swing Saturday with the South Carolina Democratic Presidential Preference Primary.

Polls in Clarendon County will open Saturday at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Several polling locations will be doing double duty Saturday. Barrows Mill and Oakdale precincts will be voting at Friendship Presbyterian Church, 20123 Black River Road in New Zion. Calvary and Panola precincts will be voting at Mt. Pleasant RUME Church, 14076 Panola Road in Pinewood. Precincts in Hicks and Turbeville will be voting at Turbeville Town Hall, 1400 Main St. in Turbeville. Precincts in Home Branch and Paxville will be voting at Paxville Town Hall, 10279 Lewis Road in Paxville. Manning Precincts 1 and 5 will be voting at Weldon Auditorium, 7 Maple St., and Manning Precincts 2 and 3 will be voting at the Clarendon County Administration Building's Council Chambers, 411 Sunset Drive in Manning. Summerton 2 and Summerton 3 will be voting at Clarendon School District One's Community Resource Center's gym, 1154 4th St., in Summerton.

All the remaining precincts will be voting at their normal polling places:

- Alcolu Precinct - Alcolu Elementary School's cafeteria, 1423 Hotel St., Alcolu;

- Barrineau Precinct - Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3709 St. James Road in Barrineau;

- Bloomville Precinct - Liberty Fire Station, 5119 Brewer Road, Manning;

- Davis Station Precinct - Davis Station Fire Station, 2684 MW Rickenbaker Road, Manning;

- Harmony Precinct - Harmony Presbyterian Church, 8629 U.S. 301, Alcolu;

- Jordan Precinct - (NEW) Wyboo Fire Station, 9699 S.C. 260, Manning;

- Manning 4 Precinct - Manning Fire Station, 42 W. Boyce St., Manning;

- New Zion Precinct - Clarendon County EMS Building, 15677 U.S. 301, New Zion;

- Sardinia-Gable Precinct - Sardinia Fire Station, 12878 U.S. 301, Gable;

- Summerton 1 Precinct - St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 9 N. Dukes St., Summerton; and

- Wilson-Foreston Precinct - Wilson-Foreston Fire Station, 1015 N. Brewington Road, Manning.

After the polls close Saturday evening, votes will be tabulated at Clarendon County's Election Central behind the gazebo on West Keitt Street.

Voters wishing to vote absentee can do so today at the Voter Registration Office, 411 Sunset Drive. No absentee voting will be allowed on the date of the primary.
