SHIRLEY WEBB CLAVEN

Shirley Webb Claven, 77, widow of Jimmy Lee Claven and daughter of the late James Webb and Edan Mae Johnson Webb, was born on June 7, 1947, in Sumter. She departed this life on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, Sumter.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with Pastor Alfreda Johnson, officiating, Dr. Gloria Cooper, presiding, and Bishop Jeffrey Johnson, eulogist.

Interment will follow in St. James Holiness Church Cemetery, Sumter.

Family will receive friends at 41 Booth Branch Road, Sumter.
