CONWAY - Sharon Nobles Odom, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 19, 2020.

Sharon was born in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of the late Rufus Virgil and Marlese Boyd Nobles. Sharon was a graduate of Hillcrest High School Class of 1971 of Sumter. She was also a graduate of Lee University Class of 1975 of Cleveland, Tennessee. Sharon was a devoted member of Conway Church of God, where she served as a greeter and choir member. While in Sumter, she attended Sumter Church of God, where she served as a Sunday School teacher, youth minister, Christian television hostess for Lifeline Ministry and gospel singer. Sharon worked for many years with the Department of Social Services in Sumter and Manning. She was best known for her "Store to Store" witnessing in Conway, Sumter and wherever she was. Her favorite phrase was "Don, the most amazing husband God ever gave any woman." In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her father-in-law, Ray D. Odom. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Don V. Odom of Conway; one daughter, Bethany Donese Odom of Surfside Beach; two brothers, Daniel Nobles of Sumter and David Nobles (Lori) of Hillsborough, North Carolina; one sister, Jeanie Smith (Al) of Sumter; her mother-in-law, Lois W. Odom of Ocala, Florida; one brother-in-law, Danny R. Odom (Jennifer) of Ocala, Florida; one sister-in-law, Janene Teeters (David) of Texas; a special adopted sister-in-law, Cheryll D. Cannon of Ocala, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Conway Church of God with the Rev. Stuart Jacobs and the Rev. Al Sims officiating. Committal services will be private. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday at the church.
