Scott’s Branch High School’s varsity boys basketball team improved to 14-6 overall and 6-1 in Region 1A-V play, beating Cross 59-47 on Tuesday night. The Eagles also beat Cross 66-34 on Jan. 17.

Scott’s Branch High School’s varsity boys basketball team improved to 14-6 overall and 6-1 in Region 1A-V play, beating Cross 59-47 on Tuesday night. The Eagles also beat Cross 66-34 on Jan. 17.

Junior Tyrek Coard and senior Antavious Stukes led the way with 15 points each. Freshman Randy Gibson added 13.

Next up for the Eagles, they’ll travel to face C.E. Murray in their final game of the regular season on Friday night. CEM handed Scott’s Branch it’s only region loss so far this season, beating the Eagles 53-51 on Jan. 21.  Both team's enter the game with just one region loss, so Friday's game will determine the Region 1A-V champion.
