Scooter's Coffee on Pinewood Road to hold grand opening Dec. 15

Scooter's Drive-Thru Coffee, known for its specialty coffee and baked-from-scratch pastries, will celebrate the addition of its second Sumter location at 481 Pinewood Road on Friday, Dec. 15.

The location, owned and operated by Andrew Reed and Joseph Walker III, will celebrate the special day by offering customers a free drink with the purchase of a drink using the Scooter's Coffee mobile app. The Scooter's Coffee app is available for download on the App Store or Google Play.

With the app, customers earn three "Smiles" for every dollar spent to collect toward free drinks for their loyalty. Customers can also link a credit card to the app and select "Pay/Earn Smiles" from the home screen. If they choose to tip, customers can select a custom amount or percentage before scanning their app.
