South Carolina Highway Patrol asks for information on Lee County hit and run

LEE COUNTY - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking for information about a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Browntown Road west of Bishopville about 7:35 p.m. Nov. 28.

An unknown vehicle was traveling east on Browntown Road near Springvale Road when it struck a pedestrian and left the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a Columbia hospital.

According to the Highway Patrol, the make and model of the hit-and-run vehicle, which may have front-end damage, is unknown.
