South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with The Boeing Company, announced a $50,000 investment in Morris College in support of the institution's Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programs.
Cynthia Bennett, chief operating officer and executive vice president of South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, presented the check to Said Sewell, president of Morris College, on campus Wednesday, May 7.
The contribution reflects a shared commitment by the South Carolina Chamber and The Boeing Company to strengthen workforce development and expand opportunities for students pursuing careers in science and technology fields. The money is preferred for use within the college's STEM programs, where it will support curriculum development, student research and access to advanced learning resources.

We deeply appreciate the South Carolina Chamber and Boeing for their continued support of Morris College and our mission."
