Sarah Richburg Tindal, widow of Charlie Tindal, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born Monday, Oct. 27, 1924, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Richburg and Curly Ragin Richburg.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Summerton, where she served with the Senior Choir and Missionary Society.

Survivors include seven daughters, Deretis Tindal of the home, Lila (Moses) Dallas of Baltimore, Rosetta (Daniel) King and Ellen Tindal, both of Manning, Gardenia Mellerson, Henrietta Tindal and Minnie (Arthur) Brantley, all of Summerton; three sons, Charles (Evangelist Dorothy) Tindal of Summerton, Levan (Vevelyn) Tindal of Rimini, and Levester Tindal of Manning; three grandchildren that she reared as her own, Evangelist Audrey (Randy) Gibson, Deacon Brian (Pamela) Tindal and Anthony Jamal Tindal of Summerton; one brother, Moses (Elder Rebecca) Richburg of Summerton; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 24, 2010, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was held in St. Matthews-Shiloh Cemetery in Summerton.

Professional services were entrusted to Dyson's Home for Funerals in Summerton.
