SARAH DIXON

MANNING - Sarah Dixon, 85, widow of Leon Dixon, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at Pruitt Health Orangeburg. She was born Oct. 8, 1936, in the Jordon community of Manning, a daughter of the late Gabe Ballard and Gertrude Johnson Ballard.

Public viewing will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Sinai Fire Baptized Holiness Church, Manning. Minister Germain Dixon, officiating; Pastor Matthew Singerton, Minister Marcus Gibson and Pastor Handsome Major, assisting.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Sarah "Kitty" Smith, 1109 Leo Road, Manning.
