SAFE Federal Credit Union welcomes Munn as chief risk officer

SAFE Federal Credit Union welcomes Casey Munn as its new chief risk officer. Munn joins SAFE from Sharonview Federal Credit Union, bringing nearly 30 years of leadership in enterprise risk management, compliance and lending. His most recent position at Sharonview was senior vice president of enterprise risk management.

Munn brings expertise in risk oversight, compliance and strategic leadership to his new role. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Personnel Management from University of South Carolina and a Master of Business Administration and Management from Winthrop University. His professional credentials include designations as a NAFCU Certified Risk Manager, Bank Secrecy Officer and Compliance Officer.

In his new role as chief risk officer, Munn will oversee SAFE's risk management framework, compliance programs and internal controls to ensure continued safety, soundness and adherence to regulatory industry standards.
