ROSE ANN NELSON

BRONX, N.Y. - Rose Ann Nelson, 40, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital.

Born June 15, 1970, in New York, N.Y., she was a daughter of Eugene Nelson Sr. and the late Ruth Blackwell Nelson. She attended Philip A. Randolph High School in New York. She attended Hood Memorial AME Zion Church.

Survivors besides her father include a daughter, Brittney Rose Nelson; a brother, Levan Blckwell Sr.; four sisters, Delores Bagley, Diane N. Brown, Bobbie Jean Nelson and Yvonne Nelson, all of New York; and a host of aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held July 24 at Goodwill Freewill Baptist Church, Bloomville community of Manning, with Elder Renel Trevol, pastor, officiating.

The family received friends at the home of her uncle and aunt, John and Ora Nelson, 2379 Oak Grove Church Road, Manning.
