RONNIE PRINCE

Ronnie Prince, 59, husband of Frederica Prince and son of the late William and Forestena Bradley Prince, was born on Dec. 3, 1961, in Sumter. He departed this life on Oct. 2, 2021, in Columbia after a brief illness.

Ronnie graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1980. He then served in the Marine Corps in Okinawa, Japan, where he received a Meritorious Mast for Outstanding Service as a Draftsman. He was honorably discharged in 1986 and moved back to Sumter. Upon returning to Sumter, he worked at Wendy's for 11 years, where he received numerous awards and accolades for his hard work and dedication to the company.

He is survived by his spouse, Frederica; two sons, Javier and Justyn Prince; five siblings, Willie (Carolyn) Prince, Linder Hardy and Katherine (Mark) Scott, all of Sumter, Terry (Tracy) Prince of Carrollton, Virginia, and Negil (Valerie) Prince of Morrow, Georgia; two aunts, Jessie Nickerson of Irvington, New Jersey, and Wilhelamina Johnson of Columbia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
