RICHARD K. SERVAIS

Richard K. Servais, 73, husband of Mona Bourgeois Servais, died on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born on Feb. 14, 1949, in Miami, Florida, he was a son of the late Richard Servais and Esther Servais Dunway. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service and was a Vietnam War veteran. He later retired from Sumter Packaging.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Dawn Servais, Cheryl Servais and Taylor Kaye Servais; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Servais; and a sister, LeAnn Bartolucci.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
