QUEEN ESTHER CANTY REMBERT

Queen Esther Canty Rembert, 95, widow of Hilliard Rembert Sr. and daughter of the late William McKinley Canty and Carrie Lucinda Willis Canty, was born on Sept. 10, 1930, in Sumter.  She departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, at her residence.
Public viewing will be held Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.
Funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at Canty Memorial COGIC, 873 Woodcrest St., Sumter, with the Rev. Eugene Canty Jr. officiating and Dr. Ralph W. Canty, eulogist.
Interment will follow in Harvin Cemetery, Sumter.
Family will receive friends at the home, 986 Dover Circle, Sumter, daily from 4-7 p.m.
