Prisma Health Tuomey job fair is Thursday; More than 50 nurse openings

Palmetto Health Tuomey Hospital has numerous nurse and health care support openings and will be hosting a recruitment fair on Thursday in downtown Sumter.

The event will be at Hyatt Place hotel, 18 N. Main St., according to a news release distributed Tuesday by the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce.

The hospital has more than 50 open registered nurse positions and 10 patient support technician jobs and will be looking to hire experienced registered nurses, graduate nurses (nurse residency) and student nurses (patient support technicians), the release said. Positions in home care and hospice will also be available.

The event is open to the public, and interviews will be taking place on site at the event. Applicants can register and apply online at careers.prismahealth.org/us/en or attend and apply in person Thursday.

The hospital urges jobseekers to come prepared to interview, bring their resume and wear professional attire.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
